Wish me luck lads !

I was thinking about what to do with them this morning and possibly sending to Ukraine. I will get another load on prescription and do that.

No. Terrible night of wind. I don’t think the launch is far off though. It’s awkward as they are seeing breakfast outside my door and the noise will be embarrassing.

The wind pain certainly is.

Don’t !!!!!
It’s imminent. I can’t go on much longer. Almost expected a couple of follow throughs but didn’t happen ( I would have happily accepted the embarrassment).
I could do with an hour on the pan but am hooked up on saline for another hour.
Incidentally on the Mail online today ( I know, I know ) there is an article on having strokes caused by having the Pfizer and flu jab on the same day . My clots were the same as a stroke only on my bowel. I had them both on the same day.
Since day one I thought it was strange how the consultant knew I had covid before me or before they had tested.
He says now that he can see the clots are tacky , lazy and slightly different in colour with covid.
I posted when I was on the pan but it hasn’t appeared !!
The deed has been done and it was a monumental occasion. I can now laugh but at the time was crying with the worst pain ever. It didn’t help that while I was in the throne the cleaner came in and was doing my bed. I needed some privacy with the grunts and wailing.
It was not pleasant and hopefully the next is easier.
Congratulations sir!

Well what a day yesterday turned out to be !
After the initial explosion that turned out to be a false start - but not in a bad way.
The next one was a shovel load of black tar which on exit felt like my whole insides had fallen out. It was literally the size of a rugby ball and I have to call the nurses to collect. Poor things.
This happened 7 more times during the day reducing in size and darkness every time.
A slight concern from nurses and ward doctors that the blackness is blood.

Apart from the wound and general soreness no real pain but difficult to walk.

This morning 5 more evacuations. More natural colour and more liquid.
Consultant comes , looks , says they are all to be expected , it’s normal and All your tests are fine.
You can go home !!!!

Squirts will continue for up to a month. Any issues give me a call !!!!

I could even be home to watch the game.
Unbelievable- I am so grateful/ happy / emotional.
Thanks everyone!!
Great news , I didn’t want to warn you about the pain but it’s done now - slightly amused at the cleaner being there , similar to my experience with the nurse 🤣
It’s so bad for the nurses having to take it away. I feel so sorry for them but they really don’t mind. Unbelievable people.
Congratulations on the new baby @ozz, I assume you fished it out and placed on a plinth so it can take pride of place on your mantlepiece?
In a sick way I regret not taking a photo of it. It will be in my mind forever.
After what I wrongly assumed was my clear out a mate texted and said was it like tar. Only on the second evacuation did the realisation set in.

Just about to leave yesterday with wife.
All systems stop.
There is C Diff in the ward.
All tested and I’ve got it as well !
So I’m still here.
Hopefully antibiotics to take and I’m away today.
Missed MOTD as well as Wi-Fi was out last night.
Glad to hear you’re on the mend. Bit disappointing about the delay but better to find out and get treated quickly. Hope you’ll be sitting watching TV at home this evening.

Stay positive
Unless they had told me I wouldn’t know I had it.
I’m positive alright. They came to change my bed and I told them not to bother as I was gojng home - no doubt I will be rolling around in crumbs tonight.
The worst thing is we are confined to barracks. Can’t leave the solitary room as we are infected. My little luxury was gojng for a wander and a nosy round the other wards.
Not to worry.
