Sitting waiting to go to theatre !

Having got covid on October 27th I suffered blood clots - the biggest in my bowel which needed over 70 cms removing.
As a result I have had a stoma bag which is basically an outside bowel.
I t has been a very active stoma and after eating it empties into it within 2-5 minutes. I have been restricted to 1 litre of fluids a day as it washes all my nutrients away.
It’s been hard.
Upside , I have lost 4 stones

Downside is I have been really Ill and miserable for 3 months.
Today is the reversal!
They remove my bag, reattach the bowel and hopefully I am back to as nature intended.
Obviously it isn’t as straight forward but here is hoping I’ll will be back to normal soon

I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.
