Really sad that likePretty sure channel 4 said 4 just now but BBC reporting 3. Still terrible news either way. Three people have died as fierce winds from Storm Eunice sweep across the UK.
A woman in her 30s in north London was killed when a tree fell on her car, a man in his 20s died when his truck collided with a fallen tree in Hampshire, and a man in his 50s in Merseyside died due to flying debris.
Five people died elsewhere in Europe, while the storm closed schools, disrupted travel and tore off roofs.
Arwen came from the east, Malik from the west.Up here Arwen seemed more powerful but Malik seemed to do more damage in the parts near us.
It looks like today's effort further south tops both of them mind from the news.
Army on standby. So the south gets a storm and there's a cobra meeting with the government. When the north got absolutely battered by Arwen in November no one gave a toss.
Need to get the lads from the Shields' ferry on there. They'll dee better than that.
ffs you back, you well?Ffs, the twerp is going to be a pest pretty much all week from what I can tell.
Hunky dory, thanks for askingThe North/South storm divide.
ffs you back, you well?
years ago I was on the last ferry let out before they closed the port. Im not great on water and the 7hrs from Caen-Portsmouth in a gale were so f***ing hideous
further up the dale.Where do you live? Langdon Beck is only 1300ft!!!
further up the dale.
A turnado would cause thousands of pounds worth of improvements to Coundon tbfTbf even a mild wind would cause tens of millions of pounds of damage in London whereas a tornado could pass through Coundon and it would be almost imperceptible to the untrained eye
I'm underweight okWhat is it with these soft bloody southerners flailing around on the street?![]()
Only cowardly Southerners.Haven’t people died today?
After the 2nd time you should of left it imoBlew one of my bins over. Went out and picked it back up. Blew it back over. Went out and picked it back up. Then all four blow over. They’re just sleeping on the floor tonight.
Also accidentally knocked over some ceramic sign that the Mrs bought for the garden. Blamed it on the wind and she’s believed me. Result
I've just been watching that on Twitter.
