Wind storms (again)

Earplugs are the way forward. I didn't hear a thing last night.
Admittedly, my roof might have blown off and I wouldn't know but it's not like I would be up a ladder to fix it.

Started using these whne stormy and must admit had some of the best nights sleep

Like you say, what am I going to do about a blown down fence at 3 in the morning anyway

I've been using ear plugs for a while now - not for when it's windy outside - the wife (no) snores like a cross between a chainsaw and a Harley Davidson.

In fact - if Dudley or Eunice could talk, they would tell her to be quiet.

Folk I'm working with at the moment are based around Bristol and south Wales. So should get running commentary tomorrow.

Looks like Sunderland isn't included on the yellow warning for snow tomorrow - more the higher grounds of Durham and Northumberland. But we are for wind. Though nothing like what the SW will get.

Last night was mearly a waft of air compared to that Arwen bad lad.

Weirdly round here (just outside Bishop)that Storm Malik which wasnt even one of ours, bloody danish thing took out the power, gable ends, ridge tiles galore and had me wrestling with next doors trampoline in the middle of the road.

Arwen and last night were loud waily howly things but Malik was the worst......so far
