Win on Tuesday

It’s only one game, but tactically he was almost perfect today with that set up/ approach.

He seemed to address everything us lot have been whinging about last few weeks.

Full backs, defensive midfield, better tempo, the press was back……

Last time I’ll say it as I’ve said it in numerous threads - I was very very impressed by that today.

Apart from when he took Roberts off and left us exposed down the right where they then scored from.

He’s been a support coach for a reason.

Let’s not make daft mistakes with appointing a coach because he’s won one game.

and he should get the job for the rest of the season
I’m open minded.

It’s a results business if Dodds keeps winning games why not.

We will only appoint a young not massively experienced coach from elsewhere who will hopefully make a name for himself here.

If that inexperienced coach with a winning mentality is already at the club why not. It’s really down to the lad.

I haven’t been his biggest fan in the past but he set the team up well today, we played at a quicker tempo and the players were obviously playing for him. It could have easily been a 4-1 or 5-1 win.

I’m not saying give it to him but let’s be open minded.

Cloughie started as a junior coach here but didn’t get the chance to progress ;)

Impossible to play the perfect game at any level. The positives outweighed the negatives by a country mile.

Can anybody who is slagging the idea off remember when we last won 2 home games in 4 days, without reverting to google?
