Choosing when to rotate and when to substitute is a huge challenge for RLB. I'm looking forward to see when and how he does it.

Not sure if it was true that he was “by far the best player”

He was obviously fast and has an excellent touch

However check Tommy Watson’s goal -that lad has pace, power as well as an accurate shot

With Mundle, Isidor and Watson the left side of our attack not obviously suffering with you-know-who’s exit

He wasn't the best player at all, far from it. Maybe 4th or 5th best. Way behind Watson and Crompton for sure, who were both excellent. I didn't like how much he gave the ball away by running into tackles. Perhaps he was trying too hard. Nonetheless, a good runout for him.

Looked fast and strong. Rode a few tackles which was lucky to keep the ball and a couple of sky rockets. Not sure he looks like a striker as “advertised”. Does look a good option on the wing though. Watson looks good though and I’d like him to get some game time as well.

He is a similar style to Thierry Henry not an out an out centre forward but can be very effective roaming across the line and attacking from areas in-between cb an fb ! Plus with brownes willingness to run beyond and make the box from cm it could be very fruitful

Funny. Mayenda was the answer for everyone when in reality he’s miles off. No one seriously thinks Wilson is good enough to mount a promotion charge do you?

I would be surprised if we end up top half in the league we haven’t got many top end players.
