Willis

Yep. Could end up being a very good addition, has the right attributes and at a good age considering how many pro games he has played.

Him, O'Nien, Dobson, McNulty (assuming we plan on trying to keep him) all at ages where they could progress with us through the leagues. The type of signings we need to be making.

Bearing in mind he's being played on the left side, and he's meant to be best on the right, he played very well today.

Looked shite in a back 3/5. Not the only one, mind.

Looks the part don’t he, good on the ball, strong, quick. Quality today.

Hoping he will prove to be the difference between failing last season and succeeding this one. Haven’t seen anything that makes me doubt that so far, he seems to be a huge step up on what we had.

Thought he was fantastic today - struggled late in the game due to fitness. Once he gets up to speed more he's just going to get better. If the defender coming in next week is a better version of Ozturk, we could have a very good centre back pairing.

Thought he was shaky to start with and got a lot better as the game went on. Good pace and positioning, seemed to win more in the air today too - just needs to calm down a bit on the ball IMO. Defo promising signs though.

Looked like he didn’t break a sweat today. Went through the game like a rolls royce. Surprisingly assured on the ball, jogged to any balls in behind and Ozturk did all the nasty work. Spot on.

Looks a great combo with Ozturk, as many fans have suggested for ages. And WHAT a header! Brilliant.

Ages? We've played 4 competitive games while he's been a Sunderland player man! 😂
