Willis injury update?

Although Willis has struggled as much as others with the three at the back I thought he looked far better when we reverted to a four. He used his pace to good effect in the second half.

His injury was described as ‘worrying’ by a couple of match reports but I’ve not seen or heard any updates since.

It would be gutting to think he’s going to miss a few games.

Anybody heard anything?

Looked like a calf strain which is usually a standard 4-6 weeks out

Doesn’t look any better to Ozturk or Baldwin so he’ll easily be replaced in the interim.

Early days. He was being praised to the rooftops on here until we saw him play. Stole him from under the noses of many a championship club so I read.

For what it’s worth I think he’ll come good.

Hope the injury isn't bad but he doesn't look as good as I was expecting - probably my fault for reading reviews of him with my ITHICS specs on.

It's hard to judge the lad as I've only seen him panicking like the rest of them over the last two games.

Got battered in the first half, felt sorry for him. Also the keeper landed on him towards the end of the first half

Willis looked the stand out defender in the 2nd half - power and pace. I hope his injury is not serious because we need to pair him with Ozturk and drop that clown Flanagan if we are to stand any chance of keeping clean sheets

As so many fans believe (but not Mr Ross), I think he and Ozturk could be a good CB pairing in a back 4.
