You make some good points but I keep seeing this above bit getting branded about when discussing Ozturk. If you watch defenders at this level, the vast majority seem to be grappling the strikers and refuse to let go of them...it would be a penalty in today’s rules but league one referees are lenient towards it (or don’t spot it). Therefore at this level it isn’t that big of a deal.

At championship level (& especially premier league level with VAR) - yes it’ll be a problem. League one? Not so much.
