Will Still (managerial suggestion)

Makes me laugh when I see posts about betting odds like, as if they make any difference at all
It's one of the many duplicitous tactics that they use to make people thing there's been some shift in the market when in reality it's just people - in many cases - lumping on because of a hunch.

In fact, I'm sure Sturridge or someone got wrong for trying to tip off friends so they could bet. Whole thing is rigged.

Sorry if it’s already been shared, just a quote coming out of Belgium las night. It's also been reported by Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure that Reims boss Will Still has held talks with Sunderland owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus about taking charge on Wearside. The report goes on to say "there are some disagreements over the January recruitment between the management and the Belgian coach."
Just wondering if he is questioning the “model” as his input into incoming transfers, this may be a big sticking point and not compensation

I have a feeling we’ll get him in the summer and give it to Dodds till the end of the season

See above the problem is with Reims not us

Imagine if we agree a deal for him to come in the summer, Dodd’s gets it until then and plays an absolute blinder and gets us promoted. 😅

Then what do we do? For that reason alone I can’t see us holding out till then.

I guess he has done his research and knows that Speakman buys and sells the players and is ok with that. Big compensation now or release clause in the summer is upto club i guess

The north east is left wing? It certainly was was when left = state intervention.

Iam not sure who represents the north east now but I doubt it’s anyone who doesn’t have traditional British values, and generally supports woke ideals that compromise them.
Yep. In general the NE is economically socialist, but extremely socially conservative. We (again in general) value our British culture and traditional ways. That’s why many of us like some of the Labour ideology in addition to some Tory policy. Neither party represents us though. I’ve recently moved to ReformUK (ex-Brexit Party) as they seem to represent the NE well and values align.

We have to get him in now. Waiting isn't an option

Does Will Still know this🤣🤣🤣

If he's the guy and only option, then get him in now. What worries me thou and what SKP said yesterday that he could come in and turn everything upside down and the players wouldn't like all the changes when they love Doddsy

Dodds will still be around though so he will have some input I’d presume. What if they love Will Still even more?

Agree. It’s a bit of a no win, manager wise, madly even getting promoted as you’ve mentioned.

Don’t get promoted & you’re going to have lots of people jumping on EVERY dropped point claiming it’s because we didn’t appoint our chosen manager.

Is Dodds here cos of Speakman? Is that not part of the permanent set up that the new manager will adopt?
