Will Still (managerial suggestion)

They need to put us out of our misery soon. I remember being sick when Parkinson was appointed and pretty much the same when Johnson was appointed but really chuffed when Neil was appointed. When Mowbray got the job I could see the logic after being left in the lurch by Neil. If we were to appoint Michael Beale it would be another Parkinson/Johnson moment for me. It would get you thinking that it was a situation of scambling about amongst those who are easily available rather than appointing someone to the take us to the next stage. I highly doubt it will be Beale but it would make me question the vision and plan that, so far, I have been fully bought into. I'd feel the same with Heckingbottom. It would just be the standard British managerial merry-go-round and the opposite of a forward looking vision. If that is the standard of what we are looking for then Dodds would seem preferable.

Pretty much in agreement with the above and I'm probably one of the biggest defenders of the board on here.

If we've gone down this road to go and appointment someone like Still then fair enough, but if after all this we end up with a Beale/Heckingbottom type appointment it would nothing short of scandalous really.

It's strange because we are constantly being linked to what seems like the "right" managers e.g. Still/Hellberg/Farioli (pre-summer)

You'd wonder how anyone could possibly see someone like Beale as being in alignment with the Still/Hellberg type of target.
