Will Still (managerial suggestion)

If Dodds was at another club he’s exactly the sort of candidate we would be looking at.
I suspect the interview with Still didn’t go well for one of the sides and we’re now looking at other options, one being Dodds.
As I said earlier, my concern is replacing Dodds current role if he does get it.

Dodds and Proctor

I can’t believe how fickle fans can be . When Mowbray was sacked the thought of Dodds being given the job sent shivers down the spine of most on this board .
Now two games later , he could be the answer and is a genuine contender .
I like the lad and I didn’t think he was a clown last time nor a genius this time , but if we are serious about taking this club to the next level , Dodds is too much of a risk IMHO .

Underwhelmed if it’s Dodds.

Want Billy Still, so it’s pointing towards another calamity chase for a manger with no positive outcome.

I’m looking forward to be proven wrong!

After Dodds first time as caretaker, ill hold my hand up and admit i had no hope of winning the 2 games he's just gone and won. Hats off to him, he's improved. I do not think giving him the gig full time is the right choice either. From the sounds of it, he is a great coach, well respected, and is what we need behind the scenes with the kids we are bringing in. If he is head coach, messes up, gets sacked, then that's it over for him here. And I don't think KS wants to lose him from the club.

I will however give him more time as head coach until the right candidate (within reason) is appointed to take us forward, rather than a stop-gap which wont take us to the next level, where KLD and KS want us. He's earn't that from me, a bit more time and even is he loses a couple, I won't be demanding he gets kicked out from the club. I'd be very happy to see him back on the training pitch with the lads, doing what he does best.

You just to understand that people have become very fickle. A couple of wins and he’s great… a couple of defeats and he’s a dinosaur. That is the way people are nowadays.
