If Dodds is appointed you'd have to seriously question the ambition of the board.

They didn't sack Mowbray because we had an outstanding candidate waiting in the wings.

He's not our 1st choice however they may decide to spin it.

If we'd had 2 defeats instead of two wins there'd be absolute hell on at the prospect of him taking charge even if it was only until the end of the season.

Really can't see how appointing Dodds on the basis of 2 games fits in with our long term strategy.
 
Some people on this thread are absolutely desperate for an underwhelming appointment so they can have a good moan about KLD/Speakman/ambition.
I wouldn't be underwhelmed with Dodds. If it's him I think it'll be a short term role while they find exactly who they want.
