Will Still (managerial suggestion)

If Dodds gets announced as 'Interim Head Coach' they don’t pay out because the market is 'next permanent manager'

Unreal the amount of idiots wanting Dodds because he’s had 2 good results

Same people would be wanting him sacked if lose on Saturday 🙄

Let him get back to his usual day job asap cheers for the 6pts though

This. I think it'd be a short sighted mistake. Fans wanted him out the club after the games he took charge of in League One. He's impressed me the last two games, he's shown he's a very good coach, and could definitely go onto be a number 1. But for now I would rather him back on the coaching staff with a proper manager/head coach brought in. It is clear we can have a real go at Promotion this season. Imagine if we got a striker going too 👀

When I suggested Will coming in the op, it was more of hope, and to get people's thoughts, but I was also being realistic. I always thought he would be a great fit and that he would be interested. Which sounds like is the case. IF compensation is the stumbling block, I think we may live to regret it, but I suppose it depends on what Reims are asking for. If it's affordable, get him.

Just over a year ago he was basically in Doddsy's position at a shit French team. I'm not sure about him tbh, flavour of the month but done nowt really and zero experience in England.

That piece you have quoted doesn't really do justice to what he's done, to be fair.

He took over a side in horrendous form who looked in serious relegation trouble, went on a 19 game unbeaten streak, and carried it on this season with their best start to a season since 1974 and currently has them challenging for the Champions League spots.

It's still a small sample size. He hasn't completed a full season as a manager yet.

pparent serenity and a little irritation: how Reims is coping with Will Still's desire to leave
The day after the news of Will Still's intention to leave, Reims had an almost normal day. Between timid denials and indirect messages...

Will Still has lived up to his reputation. This Wednesday morning, a few hours after his trip to London on Monday to meet with Sunderland's directors was revealed, the Reims coach played the card he prefers: that of repartee and humour. When he joined his squad for the session, the Reims coach, in front of a few curious onlookers, cameras and his players, slipped in with a smile: "Oh finally, I'm not in England!"

What you can have without paying
Is there a website you can use to read this article? Seems you can't read the whole article but got the bit that said "he smiled in front of the cameras and said ah, not in England"
