Heckingbottomjust not in their way of thinking....they will play it safe after Neil
Could easily be either scenario but there’ll be some face saving going on either wayOr as an example, he’s had a meeting and hasn’t been given as much control over transfers as he would have liked in his proposal. I know it’s an odd scenario on internet message boards but often in life people change their minds on things when they learn more information about something.
That being said I wouldn’t hold much stock in any reports at the minute regardless. There’s always stuff that comes out that conflicts with each other.
exactly...a known quantity, safe and easy..plus they are probably a bit skint after paying Neil offHeckingbottom
I think the verbiage will be key mate.If we don't get him in now I think he will have other offers in the summer, Dodds is mad to take it because if he gets the push eventually there is no going back to coaching here, not with a new head coach.
3/4 of a Bichon Frisé on potterJust put half a Spanish weasel on Adkinsy
StokeAnd we enter end game. It’s happening.
Once relationships between manager and board are soured, there’s usually only one outcome.

If he's appointed as caretaker then the message is clear. If Still was showing a small hesitation to join now I could understand why. He's worked really hard and he'll want to limit the risk when making that first move. Joining midseason is always quite tough because you haven't got as much time to make changes and all the games matter (not to mention the derby).
Bob hinting Stoke have come in for Still
Perhaps ...but the thing is Speakman knows Dodds very very well as he essentially brought him with him as soon as he could. Also the clubs whole ethos is based around "development and improvement" Dodds clearly has done both of those things while here so you can see why he might be under consideration for the top jobIt was but if Dodds was employed by another Championship team as a first team coach people would look at his career and be up in arms we were considering him for the job.
Wouldn’t make sense at all, for manager or club.Stoke
NoI am the only one that has resigned to him not coming?
I don't get why he would lay out his plans though to get us to the Premier League if he wasn't interested in it. He would be joining mid season but we are sitting 6th with a chance of the playoffs plus he gets the whole pre season to work on things for next season whether we are up or not. Still could be gone in the summer, any other club can come in for him, I don't know what is going on behind the scenes but I think this would be our best chance to get him before the summer comes where the release clause activates.I think the verbiage will be key mate.

It also says he's denied he wants to coach us.And we enter end game. It’s happening.

And realistically, we all know our best player (Clarke) is off in the summer unless we go up.
Ballard and Neil will attract serious offers too.
I dont think people want it to be Dodds. More that they expect it to be him.Unreal the amount of idiots wanting Dodds because he’s had 2 good results
Same people would be wanting him sacked if lose on Saturday
Let him get back to his usual day job asap cheers for the 6pts though

Course mate that’s standard on here and they’ll be wanting Still sacked if he loses his 1st gameUnreal the amount of idiots wanting Dodds because he’s had 2 good results

I don't want to take the piss out of you because you're probably on the spectrum...The more negative things I hear about him the less I am mad about him coming.
I think he’s going to be one of the worst things to happen to us. We need to steer clear of this bullet. A lot of what people are saying tells me he’s very politically motivated. He engineers situations to suit his own interests. I think we should be going for a more experienced English coach like Nigel Adkins or someone similar. They are a safe bet and won’t take us for a ride like Will Still is.
