Will Still - Lens Manager

I like Rosenior and is far more expireinced in this horrid league than many of the others mentioned.

Did well at Derby despite Rooney and his Hull team did well last season imo. They spent big at the end and failed which is perhaps what happens when you buy and loan good players in January. I wouldn’t know

I really can’t get my head around SAFC supporters backing Rosseinor. The lad plays horrible football and was sacked by hull city.

How low have we come to even consider this? Thanks KLD and Speakman

I think this 'horrible football' narrative is being overplayed. He's renowned for patient, possession football, which isn't everyone's cup of tea, but equally so not horrible either.

Horrible to me would be route one or park the bus type football.

Why did he get sacked if that was an achievement?
Their's owners a mentalist. Hull fans seemed mostly shocked and annoyed by his sacking, and he made really good progress with them.

The HITC video was done by a Hull fan and is a good watch.

I'd still rather have Jansen but Rosenoir would also be a good appointment. The reaction to him is exactly the same as the reaction towards Mowbray, and before that Neil before they were appointed.

Its just a predictable appointment though isnt it?

No ambition, not much thought gone into it. Just like a team wanting to plod on
I mean, I would argue he'd fit us quite well. He developed a lot of Hull's players and pushed them on (Greaves being the best example), he has a defined style of play similar to how we've tried to play before, he's a young up and coming coach and we're a club that (at least on paper, not saying we've been that good at it) tries to hire up and coming talent.

People just throw around terms like plodder, unambitious etc. without really looking at the manager in depth.

Sounds like both Rosenior and Pascal are both boring knackers who play slow, turgid football.

Something must have gone wrong with the process. I think we should start again from the beginning.
Jansen is meant to be quite attacking I thought? Sure he loved to have both fullbacks high and wide.

The issue is not necessarily with Rosenior but the narrative the club have. Obsession with progression, high performance culture etc. We’re expecting something/someone out of the ordinary, especially the length of time they’ve had to plan.
Is Rosenior better than Mowbray, if he was still manger of Hull would we be actively trying to get him !
