Really struggle to see what is taking us so long, given other clubs have sacked and replace their managers within a week or two and we still aren't seemingly any closer nearly 4 months on is beyond me.

Radio silence from those at the top as well despite how disgusting we have been since January makes things even worse.

My 5 year old also just called bubblegum by the word bumblebum so that's the level we are looking at.

Tbf I can’t see Dodds having any hold over trying to remain in a prominent role within the first team. His win ratio during his current role of 15% for this level is one of the lowest I have known. It does not give him any bargaining power at all. So surely that can’t be the reason for the hold up. With a record like that if he was to make any sort of demands then he should be sacked outright.

Win percentage really isn’t relevant for a first team coach.

apart from that I don’t think the point is about Dodds making demands or bargaining.

If the rumoured issues were true it would be that Speakman / KLD still want him to be involved alongside Still because they believe (rightly or wrongly) that he’s a good coach.

The delay would be if Still would agree to that rather than anything to do with Dodds making demands.
