Why? A player can sign an agreement with a new club within 6 months of his current contract ending. There would be nothing wrong with making an announcement that a contract starting on June 1st

It was speculated that compensation could be due before a certain date
 
Really struggle to see what is taking us so long, given other clubs have sacked and replace their managers within a week or two and we still aren't seemingly any closer nearly 4 months on is beyond me.

Radio silence from those at the top as well despite how disgusting we have been since January makes things even worse.

Of all the things they're getting stick for that is comfortably the most ludicrous

The June 1st explanation makes the most sense. If that date comes and goes with no announcement, then might be the time to start moaning.

A simple 'things didn't work out as we planned' statement would do, instead we haven't heard anything at all.

But that’s you just guessing to have a whinge as per. Who says things haven’t worked out? Still has been mentioned all along as our top target, he’s still not taken another job and the indications seem to be he will be announced here soon.

To be honest, it sounds as though you want there to be an issue to justify complaining.
