Perspective is everything think it was widely appreciated he was unlucky to leave Hull
It wasn’t as if he’d lost 8 games on spin
They finished 7th not too dissimilar from us year before
 

Rosenior would (for me anyway) feel a very middle of the road appointment, same as the likes of Heckingbottom. Just doesn't scream of anything ambitious, but then the same can be said of the club itself recently, so probably a good fit for each other.

I know where you're coming from but you could say that about any manager we get in . E.g Mowbray - 'if we appoint a manager not kept on by Blackburn that tells us a lot about the owners'

Whoever comes in just needs to be backed by the fans regardless if popular decision with majority or not initially. Don't get me wrong I 100% did not want Beale but there were fans openly against him from the start which made the whole situation impossible.

If people underperform then fair enough but anyone should get a fair crack first.

I think some pundits and supporters outside of SAFC, would suggest our owner and and the “model manager”. are no less trigger happy. We are on to no 6 in less than 5 year. Don’t disagree with your sentiments on Rosenior he does come across well. My issue is and always has been, who is going to work with Speakman and his model?.

He certainly suggests that when he says he’d be surprised if we hired anybody within 3 days. He’s saying we’re not within 3 days of announcing somebody

My problem with the local journos is that they'll occasionally post stuff like this - but will never ever dare bring up tough questions when they do have face time with someone at the club. They never press the issue. Someone will eventually get announced and they'll not question them over the shambles. They'll ask if they like chocolates like TM or some shite.

To me it gives off the vibe that he doesn’t have a clue what is happening, like the majority of us.

He doesn’t say no one is close just that he’d be surprised if it happened that quick within 3 days.

The squad he had should have been comfortably top 6.

I agree the quality of questioning is poor. Barnes has a habit of asking about 5 questions at once, so the interviewee can just pick the easiest one or two and ignore the rest.

Why would he be surprised? I have no idea what’s going on but given we’ve been without a coach for months, it wouldn’t surprise me if we announce one tomorrow.

The only way his post makes sense is if he has knowledge that we’re not that close to anybody OR he knows we’re announcing somebody on a given date so he’d be surprised if we did it sooner
