Do you know him personally like?

Mowbray was sacked, results and performances turned. We invested a huge amount into his signing, Dack.

We didn’t lose him. We sacked him. Given what went on after that now looks like a stupid decision.

What’s gone to his head? People going on this board like they’ve been sitting next to him and know him personally. It’s just made up bollocks.

Powers gone to his head? Based on what?

Little success at Birmingham? You state that as a fact. Is it? Again just zany sound bite without any substance.

Not difficult to get out of league one? We had the biggest budget and spent the most by far yet we couldn’t get out. Again you make it sound like it was a given. Ignoring the fact we couldn’t get out of it until someone put in a proper plan to do it.

Just another poster who dismisses anything positive as “that’s easy, anyone could have done that”

Has he fuck man. What a load of shite.
i concur. some proper melts on here these days

Keep logging on & having a quick browse of the last few pages, but I’ll be honest, it tells me fuck all.

I’ve seen 1st June mentioned. Is there an actually logical explanation why we’d wait until this date, if it is Still?

I could explain all, but it is wasted, some supporters will back the club no matter what.
The incompetence and downright lack of care & savy and stubborness has taken the club to where it is today.
Its in a sad plight.
Argue otherwise, its just small detail.
Support has been it only saviour.
Mistake after mistake, it gone on over decades.

These chancers are simptomatic of society of today.

I think it all needs to be put in context too.

We started from a pretty low place given how ran down and underfunded the club had been under Methven and Donald. Most staff were furloughed, investment was pretty much non existent and costs had been cut as far as they could be (and more).

Point being, that was beyond bad. So any new owner coming in would likely be improving the situation just by doing the basics right. They’ve had some shrewd recruitment. Clarke, Ballard and Jobe in particular have done well, and whilst not being hidden gems, have still been good pieces of investment.

On the managerial side I think they took a punt on both Neil and Mowbray and both worked wonders. I think both succeeded in spite of the model rather than because of it.

The shortcomings of the transfer activity are there for all to see. Rather than continuing buying players who have been schooled in British academies or players who have had previous moves for decent money that haven’t worked out, we’ve gone on an ideologically driven pursuit of foreign talent who are cheap and mostly below the age of 21. It’s not just one or two duds, it’s been consistently bad. It also has failed to address two gaping holes in the team in a cdm and a cf. Those holes have existed for at least 18 months.

The managerial situation is also beyond bad. Beale was a disaster. The plodding on with Dodds even worse.

If they didn’t come out with the soundbites of ‘obsession with progression’, ‘high performance culture’ and that they are always contingency planning for both coaches and players, then people may forgive them. But when all the evidence runs contrary to what they’re saying they’re doing it’s no wonder people get pissed off.

We’ve gone from being a club a couple of games away from the Premier League and in need of a little bit of investment to go again, to a rudderless club in free fall. The ‘good work’ in the bank that got us promoted to league one has long gone. It’s not far off incompetence.

Totally agree…… although what you, I and others have pointed out imho it actually is incompetence. The appointment of Beale more than any other to replace TM was an absolute shocking decision, the vast majority of supporters knew from the very outset it was wrong, but the owner and Speakman knew better, they don’t!! You can repeat the same point re DCM and CF, that’s why its incompetence!!

His contract with Reims expires I think
Right, so waiting until May is done would mean that we’d save needless compensation payments.

Some believe. Rightly or wrongly?
That’s my strategy 🤣

1 click last page
2 click three pages back
4 Read and suffer the inevitable dawning despair
You’re showing more commitment than me going three pages. I go to the last full page & assume/hope that if anyone has said anything of any relevance or substance, loads of people would have quoted it.

Hasn’t really happened up until now

There was further incompetence at the time. Speakman promoting Dodds to assistant head coach on the basis that he is going to make a great head coach and is only slightly behind Beale in his trajectory. A poor error or done to save on the wages bill. Either way up it's a f***ing shambles.
