Posters now saying we spoke to Still back in December when he was under contract with Reims, and then twice in between him speaking to Norwich...... The levels of made up nonsense is getting stupid now.
This stuff has been said for ages…
I see no harm in interpreting things, but the way it’s given as FACT, sometimes with abuse, is odd.

A team who were in the Champions League this season, and just missed Europe qualification. Lens are a step up from Reims.
We wouldn't have broken rules to have contract talks with Still in December, come on.
I see that point and also see the other.
Take the info on board or don’t. But don’t give stick if something doesn’t end up the way someone says it. But I do agree with your point also

It was literally all over the media especially in France. There was hell on because the were reports he had approached KLD about a meeting. This was all well spoken about on here at the time.

That's an opinion piece by that News site and there was still no proof he spoke to Sunderland.

Article from a source that has been described as excellent in the last 24 hours talking about Lens being interested in Still. The article linked clearly states that Still got his agent to approach the club.

Even if it's true which I don't believe.
Still approaches or speaks to Sunderland in December setting out how he'd want the job to be set out. Assume coaching numbers, input into transfers, salary etc
Sunderland have 6 months with that information, refuse to pay the compensation to release him, appoint Beale, sack him and then have a further two conversations with Still and still can't agree a deal......
