I once got horny when I was watching carol Vorderman on countdown, not bad 5 letters but there was a T so I could have had thorny for a 6Wrong one when Carol vordeman was on
Thought KLD was in charge?I just think it makes them look worse when nothing happens. If Speakman wanted to avoid questions he'd be better off saying he had the shits. From the atmosphere in the room they'd have to be pretty good actors if it was all just a ruse to get Speakman out of a tight spot, but who knows. Either way let's just hope they eventually get the right person in. With players still away, and the summer window normally taking a while to get going (added to the fact that the head coach won't be the only person with input into signings, so plenty of work can be ongoing) I don't think it's a disaster at present, but they need to get the appointment right and they really don't want to be dragging it long into June
I'd still say it's not normal for a club to not have a permanent manager close to 100 days after sacking the last one.I just think it makes them look worse when nothing happens. Plymouth appointed Rooney days ago. With Norwich going another route seems we would be his only option. Hull don’t seem to be looking at him and won’t go to Plymouth
No, because that would be mental. You can’t just say you’re close to an appointment if you’re not.
Maybe no one else is looking at him, Maybe he turned Norwich down, maybe hull have been in touch and he didn’t fancy it…..ultimately doubt we will ever really knowWith Norwich going another route seems we would be his only option. Hull don’t seem to be looking at him and won’t go to Plymouth

Another poster ignoring the fact we all knew vast majority of those 100 days we weren’t going to appoint a manager. The club told us.I'd still say it's not normal for a club to not have a permanent manager close to 100 days after sacking the last one.
Hasn't even given them the opportunity to be turned down apparently. Didn't even want talks with themCooper is set to turn down Burnley apparently
Whats odds on speakmann tried offer Herve Renard the job?Maybe no one else is looking at him, Maybe he turned Norwich down, maybe hull have been in touch and he didn’t fancy it…..ultimately doubt we will ever really know
Yep
I'll probably be hopelessly wrong but he strikes me as the next Curbishley, always thinking he can get a better job than the ones he's got a chance of getting so he'll turn them down, not get the ones he really wants, and end up struggling to get anything. Probably get the Leicester job tomorrow mindCooper is set to turn down Burnley apparently
Leicester players apparently don't want him either due to his Notts Forrest connections.I'll probably be hopelessly wrong but he strikes me as the next Curbishley, always thinking he can get a better job than the ones he's got a chance of getting so he'll turn them down, not get the ones he really wants, and end up struggling to get anything. That doesn't answer my post though in that whether we knew or not, it's not a normal situation for a club of this level to be in.Another poster ignoring the fact we all knew vast majority of those 100 days we weren’t going to appoint a manager. The club told us.
Same as potterI'll probably be hopelessly wrong but he strikes me as the next Curbishley, always thinking he can get a better job than the ones he's got a chance of getting so he'll turn them down, not get the ones he really wants, and end up struggling to get anything.
