If talk of something happening that has both excited and annoyed people, I wonder if it would be something like Rosenior with SKP coming in as his protégé.

Rosenior speaks a good game, and if it was all about early form, then even Fergie had his rough spots. He's not an exciting appointment at all, but could be quite an astute one for a young team. Certainly no worse than Mowbray.

I really suspect they will factor in a plan b, like a godfather figure like el tel was at Boro to Robson, or more likely a no2 or trainee manager as a back up plan if things go wrong or if he's poached. Like a cheap lower league manager or fan favourite like cattermole or SKP.
