SSN were pretty direct and clear when they said Will Still was out of the running for the job. I am inclined to believe it. Not sure we should be going cap in hand to someone who doesn't want to come. Of course, it all depends on what the terms of the deal were, but let's be honest, Speakman has had since mid-February to get this over the line and he's ballsed it right up.Is he not?
People pissing their pants, all that has been happening is negotiations. It is perfectly normal. So how can we say he isn't bought into coming here?
they'reLooks like their in some financial trouble
Do we really want someone who's not bought in to coming here? All of our eggs appear to be in the Will Still basket, much like they were in the Nazariy Rusyn basket when we needed an experienced striker last summer.
Probably because we've been trying to hire him since he left Reims? With the amount of jobs that's been available over the last month, you have to wonder why nobody has employed this fella yet.

In all fairness, the reason it has taken this long is because Still is/was the guy. Hence why he stuck Reims on the back burner and ultimately left/got sacked.SSN were pretty direct and clear when they said Will Still was out of the running for the job. I am inclined to believe it. Was actually in the frame when Mogga was sacked, so been a long while and we wouldn't pay the compensation while he was still at Reims.Probably because we've been trying to hire him since he left Reims?
I think he wants to come here, but wants assurances to back room staff and maybe some say in player incomings/outgoings. He may want some experience among the first team, which goes against what the clubhas been doing recently.
If I was a head coach with any reputation, I'd be asking the same things from the club. Is he just supposed to roll up and let Speakman and Dodds do their thing?....f#ck that.
Hopefully, IF discussions are still ongoing, it means taht Still has made the club bend on the model on which they've been so focused on and thats seen us go backwards recently.

SAFC have history of misfortune with gingers. Cursed, treacherous, useless, broken. Maybe they are best avoided.
That's a bad sign. Might be different in France, but usually clubs will just bat off any questions about specific managers or players they're linked with.He was also the only candidate they addressed by name, mind

What’s the score like? I’ve been off the board a couple of days, come back and there’s about 200 new pages and it seems like we’re back on?
