Will Spurs get 61,000 crowds?

Just because Spurs and West Ham's ground capacities were around 35,000-36,000, doesn't mean that was the sum total of their support, as many on here seem to think. Their catchment areas are huge and the population is ever increasing around those parts. They haven't magically got 20,000+ new fans, they were always there but couldn't get a ticket. It's frustrating to see any club progressing whilst we stand still but if you want to put your head in the sand and say it's all down to tourists buying tickets then go ahead. The fact is, those clubs will have sold 60,000+ tickets for every game, at London prices, whether people actually attend or not.
seems how ever many times people explain this it'll be ignored, maybe rightly just to annoy EssexYid :p

Truth is I know exactly why they keep posting the same shite time after time, not only do they make themselves look stupid, they really would have to be Six fingered idiots if they actually believed the tosh that they constantly post, but I will happily carry on posting my facts and figures taken from official sources in response to their inane drivel, the fact that many of them are resorting to abuse and name calling says everything about them, it is simply because they have no reasoned debate to offer.

I once saw a surprisingly biggish crowd watch a couple of dogs chasing a football in a London park.. So Spurs will sell out no problem at all.

That's was hard when from the 70s 80s and 90s until it closed the capacity wasn't even that

So? My point was, we'd attracted more than 40k in the past. We knew we could attract those sort of attendances, hence why we built a 42k seater stadium.

I just think it's because you come across as a bit of a nob mate.

Except for 2 rail stations within 5-10 minutes walk

3 rail stations actually, White Hart Lane, Northumberland Park, and Tottenham Hale all of which are being either completely rebuilt, or extensively renovated, and there will be lots of extra trains added as well as shuttle busses to various locations.

Definitely they will. Decent club going in the right direction. They'd sold out Wembley for a 2nd leg against Gent this week long before anyone knew it would be a competitive fixture and that's for the Ropey Ropey league.

Wrong mate, loads of trolls and Wums on here chat absolute shit about Spurs and I simply put them down with plain simple facts, but that makes me a prick etc.

If I came on here constantly taking the piss out of Sunderland as a club all of the time which lets face it would be easy to do, I would get shit loads of abuse before getting banned, but I don't want to do that I am simply standing up for my club just like most of you on here would.

They'll easily sell it. Just add on increased corporate seating and a very modest new stadium bounce and they're nearly there before they even try.

60k is the new PL benchmark.

Hoddle, cockney wanker.More than 50 England caps but he was never given a chance say the cockney press/Spuds fans.Bollocks.Very skillful but soft as shite.Just saying like.
