Will Leicester title win be biggest shock in football history?

But even if those teams had got their shit together, Leicester would have gone from bottom to 4 losses all season and probably second/third regardless. That's not down to Chelsea being shit. Last season Man City were second and lost 7 games. Chelsea lost 3.

So, what are you suggesting HB? Bit of the old foul play behind the scenes?

The hatred/jealousy of Leicester on here is unreal. This achievement is nothing short of astonishing. Derby, Forest and even Ipswich when they went through the divisions were all great achievements, but at that time there was not the same gulf in pounds between clubs as there is now. Over the years there have been freak cup wins, even a few teams in the league reaching the heights and fading.

That to me is what sets Leicester apart. It may never happen again and will probably be talked about forever!

Not if we find out later doping was involved...look at the Liverpool player is it just one or many more to come???
Don't believe this. If they are doping then I highly doubt it's on a level any higher than the rest of the teams in the PL. Doping will increase your energy and recovery but it will not increase your skill and composure on the ball. It will not increase your killer instinct and ability to stick the round thing in the onion bag. Doping might give you a boost but over 38 games it will not cover the cracks in your game that prevent your team from crossing the finish line first. Leicester and Ranieri have been absolutely fantastic this season and fair play to them.

Cannot think of a bigger achievement- they came like a shot completely out of the blue. It was so fast that even in January the top teams hadn't quite cottoned on to what was happening and there was no attempt in the transfer windows to unsettle them and pick their team apart- I think if Fergie had been around his phone would have been very busy in January! ;)

Thing I don't get is how have they had so few injuries

You don't win the premier league without a little bit of luck..
Ranieri should take a lot of credit.. His reputiation was on a shoe string and I remeber the likes of Adrian Durham mocking him all pre season and everyone said he would be the first sacked.
I was very impressed with the way he brought in Jeffrey Schluup for Albrighton on Sunday. Without Vardy they didn't have the pace and Albrighton has played very well recently and Ranieri had the balls and confidence to change it around and it paid off.

its just pure bitterness and jelousy, nothing else, some very sad people on here who have no time for any other team or thier sucess trying twist and turn any excuse as to why they are top.

they are top for a reason. they are a great side

You're right. I'll stop supporting and wishing success on Sunderland as of right now. I've only wanted to see us have a small bit of success for 28 years but fuck it. Come on Leicester!!!!

Clough had built a decent team at Derby but they weren't really expected to challenge, it was nowt like the shock of Leicester winning it now (if they do). What Derby did do was use the league win to spend the next 5 or so seasons challenging again along with another league title 3 seasons later and decent success in Europe including a semi final (where we were robbed!!!). Forest used their shock league win to push on and challenge for trophies for the next decade, not sure Leicester will be able to follow this up with much else.
Is there something in the water in the East Midlands Triangle!? Staggering that the three biggest rags to riches stories happened in the same area.

Ipswich's achievement in winning the title in 1962 was incredible. They had only entered the Football League in 1938 and been in the League for only 17 seasons. They had only been promoted from the Third Division South in 1957. They won the league title in their first ever season in the top flight. Two seasons later they were relegated.
