BBC Will Grigg: Sunderland striker rejects Salford City move

Dont blame him as such. As long as he puts the effort to get back in the team and score frequently. We offered him the contract at the end of the day and sees himself as better than league 2. Now he has to prove it

He is a charlatan though in the Rodwell sense. Maybe not as bad in that he hasn't started feigning injury.

If he is better than league 2 then surely he would score a fuck load of goals and get his rep back and a move up the leagues?

Or is he shitting it that his purple patch was a flash in the pan and he would be fucked? 🤔

Surprised tbh, aren't his family still Wigan-based? My geography might be a bit off but that's gotta be right next to Salford, no?
He’s based in the north west so it’s surprised me. Maybe it’s a money thing.
or could he be another that’s “ fallen out of love with the game “ but still wants the wages. There’s a few things it could be.
