Wigan losing another player

I think you're overestimating their support to be honest.

It's only ever going to be a viable business in the Premier League and the amount of investment required get there isn't going to be offset by the gate money they generate.

They're starving for cash because it wasn't that well run.
I don’t mean to be cruel here . It’s awful to see ANY club in theIt predicament .

if you had told me as a young kid they would be in the top flight of English football I would think you need to give your head a shake.

they are literally a non league club that have done well .

Interesting interview with Alan Nixon.

Wigan's wage bill is described as 'ridiculous'.

Previous owners chucked a load of money at winning promotion to the Premier League and then pulled the plug when they didn't.

One of the current bidders is described as a 'complete fantasist' who 'couldn't raise £4 let alone £4M.'

Is the fantasist our man Storey?

May well be Norman Smurthwaite. He made enquiries, but as he appears to be the PDC of Club Chairmen, it created uproar amongst the Wigan fans and he pulled out, but remains lurking in the shadows.
