Wigan deducted more points

So if they keep missing payments do they continually get more points deductions?

Doubt it, if the punishment isn’t working efl will have to come up with something else that does work, maybe cancel their membership of efl as they did (I think) with bury

I assume they wouldn't be allowed to start the season, if they continue to be serial, unapologetic non-payers.

The precedent, is that League One would just have 23 teams.

Apparently the wages are due this week too.

Could get really messy this (as if it’s not messy enough already).

Feel sorry for them, me. Except McClean. McClean can fuck off.
Fuck Wigan Athletic, Always thought we were shite and beneath them because they signed a load of our garbage.

I hope they gan bust, tinpot as they come.

At some point you'd assume the players would be within their rights to say they don't want to stay there. And can't see many new recruits being desperate to join

Still won more than us and played in Europe more than us in recent times sadly
They won an FA cup ten years ago. And that’s about it as far as “major” or notable trophies go. Not quite tinpot but still only their towns second sports team after the egg chasers.

Could be wrong but believe if salary is 28 days late they can consider themselves as free agents and join another club as to new recruits they’ll have to pay over the odds, which got them in trouble in the first place or settle for players who no one else wants

Latest rumour is that all those crocks that were signed on big money two years ago don't have relegation clauses. Charlie Wyke will probably be on considerably more than the £10k a week he was at the start.
