Wickham hinting at something

Looks better than Ji whenever ive seen the two of them in a Sunderland shirt.
Ji is technically a far better footballer imo, as for the quote I don't have a clue in what context he made it and not on Twitter so no idea how he is reacting to the his replies, can anyone enlighten?

There are some complete bellends among our support mind. The quote doesn't even make sense in the context of criticising the club and yet people are having a dig at him. He's a 20 year old kid ffs. The transfer fee wasn't his fault, but it seems some can't get over it.

They think it's their money ......... it isn't.

Totally agree this comment

It's fairly certain it's a dig at Di Canio with the fact he's took Sunderland out of his bio and changed his photo to him for England U21s, no idea how the quote can be about Di Canio though, I reckon him coming on after Ji pissed him off.

How pathetic is it to go on twitter and put shite like that, attention seeker knacker.

disgusted at this tweet me. I haven't a clue why he posted it but its blatantly a dig at the club.

Couldn'y agree more
It's ridiculous. We want to compete with the best and yet when we spend big money an element of our fans can't get over the price tag. The fee is irrelevant. Once he's signed, then he's one of ours and we should back him accordingly.

I like Connor Wickham I don't think this has anything to do with transfer fees just fans being pissed off about players pissing about on social network sites whether that's Bardsley and McClean who cost not much or Wickham. If Wickham was referring to training or having a go then he deserves criticism and it was my initial thought that he was with him also removing Sunderland stuff from his account.

In the lakes on holiday with kids this week this is our last day and this tweet has ruined our day. Clearly he intends to insult all Sunderland fans and has now joined the media swathe intent on bringing this club down. My son has trudged round Windermere in the rain shirtless today as we had no other option than to bin his Wickham Sunderland top. I hope he is happy.

I've never seen the lad get a goal bound header in once never attacks crosses, for his size he's soft as shite, plays far to much with his back to goal, I can't even remember him making any keepers work or even get a shot in. If potential is laying a five yard ball off he's mint, but for me potential would be at least getting a few shots and headers in on target not just holding the ball up[DOUBLEPOST=1377279441][/DOUBLEPOST]There is a few more simple quotes for him aswell like practice makes perfect and if first you don't succeed try try again!
Or maybe even the more I practice the luckier I get? Einsteins full of shit man!

what a load of cock, "its fairly certain ...." like you'd know what's meant and what's not, bed wetting at its most virulent imo

Like you i think all of this is ridiculous, the guy in Winderemere should buy his kid a waterproof, loads on offer over there.

189 posts about this? Jesus Christ

Same with 'PDC names & shames a player pre season' and 'Sessegnon is on a plane to a hot sandy country'.

People would rather talk about unsubstantiated rumours concerning anything whatsoever that's bad than anything that's good.

Why do you think that though, when it's been mentioned numerous times that he is a Nike sponsored athlete and other people who have Nike sponsorship have done the same? The quote could be applied to almost anything in someone's life, but as usual people on here are desperate to have a go so they assume it's about SAFC. He may even be using it as a self-motivational tool where by he's recognizing he needs to do a little more/something different if he wants his situation to change......but that would give people nothing to moan about.

I'm convinced with most it's because they've got absolutely nothing else going on in their own life so they can't wait for things like this to happen because it makes them feel involved in something.

What a bunch of fannies

He's sponsored by Nike, and has simply changed his profile pic accordingly. Sack him!

Kids today seemingly get upset about anything & everything

I'm not suggesting that you're one of them but there are plenty on here trotting out lines about his price or his ability. He's around the same age as Louis Laing, John Egan, El Hadji Ba, David Moberg-Karlsson and Charas Mavrias, none of whom will make a huge impact this season, yet rather than be judged like a young player who is learning the game, he's written off like an older player who isn't good enough. That is down to the price tag.

has he just this week become sponsored by Nike? If no

I agree with that. I've got plenty of time for him as a player.
