Why would you sack your manager one day…

If they made an immediate appointment folk would moan that we either made a snap judgment and appointed someone willy nilly or that we were talking to candidates behind Mowbrays back while he was still employed.
As much as it's frustrating waiting for news I'd rather the club go through their due dilligamce and take their time getting the right man in.

Presumably because it's not as easy as that. There are processes to go through once the previous manager goes.
You’re sounding like KS *processes* 🤣 it’s very simple they will have a list of who they want, “We are going to replace management, we want you, will you come?” if tjey so no go to next one.

The clubs is a joke some big fixtures coming up 3 points off the playoffs and the mags at home and the club has no replacement lined up ??

Manager after manager after manager keeps on getting sacked it’s time to look at the BOARD / AMBITION !!!!!!

I think most would complain but be more confident that the hierarchy have been decisive and quick.

How often does a new manager get appointed the day after his previous incumbent is dismissed?

Genuine question by the way, but I can't imagine it's too often..
Agreed, but it’s been quite obvious our owners and KS have wanted TM out of the doir for a while.
Everything must be very black and white in your world, mate.
You calling me mag like? 😡

Head Coach not Manager(s)

May seem like semantics but it is a huge difference within the Club and KLD mind.

We recruit to the squad strengths not the traditional Manager who will come in and sweep the board and start from scratch.

I’d expect an appointment today, if the the new HC is going to be in the dugout at the weekend.

I doubt it though.

Two sets of negotiations maybe more with a coaching team coming with. Not a quick process

and not have his replacement already lined up to start pretty much the day after? F*cking berks.

They knew fine well they wanted rid of TM FFS. Loads of clubs do it I suppose, it’s just mad… 🤷‍♂️
Liverpool didn’t appoint Klopp the day after Rodgers was sacked.

Arsenal nearly took a month to appoint Arteta.

Newcastle took 3/4 weeks to appoint Howe after Bruce went.

Spurs took 3 months to appoint Ange after conte

This isn’t something to beat SAFC with. As long as it’s an improvement is all that matters

I imagine they have their targets, in fact I'm sure they do, but it just isn't as easy as sack one man one day, appoint another the next.

I’m asking a genuine question and said other clubs do it. 🤷‍♂️
