This is a documentary series being broadcast on the Discovery channel currently, co-produced by Steven Spielberg and Alex Gibney. It goes into the science and social conditioning behind hatred. Well worth a watch and a lot better than much of Discovery's usual fare.

I try not to hate anything as imo it fills your blood with lots of bad chemicals.

Any good then? Did it blame hate on capitalism so that normal folk are kept in a bubble, fighting amongst themselves over relatively petty things, and blinkered from the goings on of the rich and powerful?

Still watching it. (3 and a bit eps of 6 in) It is very good.
 
First one was canny. It went at hate from a anthropological angle looking at natural circumstances as to why hate can give an evolutionary advantage for some apes and not others. Then how the human brain relates to this.

The bullying section of this was interesting apart from overly long stories from kids who were being bullied. Then on to mass shootings in the US again focusing on brain function.

Only 40mins long so quite handy if you're in the mood. I'll probably watch the next one and see how it goes.
