He was promised 6 quality players or so we were told. 6 players @ 10M = 1 Chelsea or Man U/City player. Can't believe the shit he's took here mind, the bloke was lured back and then shit on by Short. All the best Dick, speaks volumes you walked because the club went back on their word.
He couldn't handle the job. Simple as that. At least he did the honourable thing....he should have just gone earlier.

I honestly don't really care what he's saying.

The bloke should be quiet.

Then posters would moan he's not talking ;)

I'm starting to think this as well

Least he gave BSA enough time to turn things around

Pity we never got BSA in when Advocatt first left

Wedve had a proper pre season etc & probably not in the bottom 3

Daily Mirror source close to Dick...aye right....like fuck does he know of Poundland. Doubt Dick gans into Poundland to save a few quid on dishwasher tablets and some other shite.

No issues with what he's saying - of course the 'source' is a made up one'. The fella clearly wasn't happy early on but felt he had to give it a go for the supporters. He could have spun it out for a couple of months and gotten a payoff but chose not to.

So 8 games is giving it a go .
In my opinion, no. But given the performances so far its enough to realise, as a 68 year old who is battling with family who wanted you to retire, that you should have listened to them.

We have been largely horrendous losing badly against those who I would see as relegation rivals. He went at the right time really.

So in reality he shouldn't have stayed.

He went at the right time. If there was even a glimmer of light I would have said he was the man to steer us to safety but there really didn't seem to be, we couldn't even hold on against WHU keep our discipline and hang on to the points.

Was I calling for him to leave? No. Now he has gone I can fully support his decision given the background in him arriving and agreeing to stay on in the first place.
