so we're not allowed to beat them? We beat Chelsea away and drew with Man U. We've also had some other good results.
Thanks for clarifying. I'm not judging but when it comes to our football club your stance is perennially negative despite our relative current 'success'.
So about Durham CCC then, tell us something uplifting....

Bruce thinks relegation is off the cards so he isn't motivated anymore. His teams are set out to avoid relegation, nothing more nothing less...
Was Jesus black?
Well you obviously dont like the truth or the real SAFC world.
Do you seriously think that NQ believes that he will lead SAFC to the PL title and the CL? I dont think he does. I think that for as long as he is here he will quite rightly big the whole thing up and make the most of ANY positives that come along.
Those positives will seriously fall short the fantasy of what you and others think will be achieved. The reality is that short doesnt have the money to take us to the promised landand Bruce doesnt have the nous.
They will get us decent finishes etc. and an odd pop at the top 5 or 6 but thats about it.
However having been a football fan for 44 years and this coming October having seen my first SAFC game 40 years ago I have a Masters Degree in Football Club bullshit.
Fall for it all you like but excuse me if I dont.
No its realistic. Thanks for clarifying. I'm not judging but when it comes to our football club your stance is perennially negative despite our relative current 'success'.

-ISH.

Aren't they, you Villa wanker.

there is nothing wrong with it. Whats wrong with thinking I am realistic?Nah I don't believe we'll win the PL or CL, because I'm not a f***ing div. After sitting through the 15 and 19 point seasons I'm more than happy to be a consistent mid table club. Nothing wrong with that.
I don't understand what's wrong with being optimistic, and just happy with the state of the club. Or are you only happy when we're shit? Seems that way.

It does no harm. I'm one person on a message board giving my opinion. 90% of the people on here seem pretty optimistic to me. This forum can stand one person telling it like they think it is surely?
You cant be that insecure.

We have no current "success". Who told you that?
anyone seriously believing that SAFC are on the verge of competing for cups and league titles and having Manchester United looking over their shoulders needs to go to the bottom of the garden and look for the tooth fairy.
Its not going to happen.
We dont have the money and we have fallen too far behind. The league and its top positions are sorted.
slag Scotland off all you like but look at our league. Its sewn up.
What will happen is exactly like this seaosn. Occasio0nally we'll do well in the league and rarely we'll do well in the cups.
Again people on here practising junior psychology?Pot kettle black
Stop being insecure with people being optimistic

So you're "optimistic" or you're not.
Which f***ing one is it?
And anyway, the first bold bit just about sums-up the view of 90% of our fans. Nowt particularly wrong with it. Just don't expect anything better, when your chairman knows what your optimistic expectations of "success" are.
PS I think most people's main critisisms are about football (And Sky/Premier League) in general. Not NQ's ability to run the club.

I said relative - as in not fighting to stay in the championship. You know - our very recent history.
Is it not fantastic that Sunderland are close to being an established top half premier league club so soon after being a club on the shit side of shite?
Of course we're not going to threaten the bigguns at the top but we can take them on on any given day. And that I'm afraid is a lot more satisfying than getting humped by Colchester...
