Recently started to smell foisty in the drum, tried all the recommended methods, white vinegar, soda crystals etc. but still smelly.
Any ideas appreciated apart from format the fucker.

Always found the Dr Beckmann stuff works well.

Leaving the door and drawer open after a wash to make sure it dries out properly helps too.

Pull the machine out and check the waste pipe trap, or the trap on the sink if it's connected under the sink.
Check the machine filter too, probably just some gungey shit that's built up over time

Clean out or replace the door seal too. Run the hottest wash empty with a squirt of bleach.

you can even smell it when door is closed, so wondering if issue is round back?

But overall I'd rather eat pizza with a knife and fork.

I normally put it in the tray. It was advice from a service engineer - not something I just made up. You could also take out the tray and give it a good clean too.

done just about everything apart from using bleach..thanks, will give it a go

I had a mojito on holiday and it could only be described as foisty Suffice to say I sent it back and got a pint instead.

Do you only use non-bio? Doing that can cause a reet stink.
Also, leave the fucker open over night. Does no harm.

OP has a lifting drum and starting a thread up to deflect us from the fact he is a scratter imo

Sorted this recently on our lass's machine. Stick a whole load of bleach in it and then pop it on a boil wash. You might need to do this 2-3 times but it does work. Make sure you do a wash afterwards with no clothes in though just to make sure you've rinsed through any residual bleach.

Putting vinegar in with every wash helps keep it clean, I’ve found.

A service bloke told me integrated washers always end up drinking and he would never have one.
