Why do you want to sack Tony and not Speakman?

Canny job that Speakmans got.

Manager asks for more experience, an established CM and a proven centre forward.

Speakman ignores him, ships out our experienced players, sells our only centre forward, and brings in a load of unheard of, totally inexperienced kids with no track record whatsoever.

Then - when we start to look like a team that’s missing experience, an established CM and a proper forward - it’s Mowbray's fault, not Speakmans.

Aya. Let’s blame the bloke who said repeatedly what was needed - who pleaded for those things - and was ignored. Let’s not blame the bloke who ignored him.

That's how I read the situation...

The problem is KLD might also think its ALL Mowbray's fault, not his model and Speakman.

Questions need to be asked now not just from the recruitment but why some of those players look like they don't give a f*ck.
They're probably wondering exactly what is Mowbray wants them to do. Some of them are in and out of the team. The ones that play regularly are asking to play different positions every week. When it's not working the subs are scatter gun to say the least. Leadership is Mowbrays job and I seem to remember Moyes being criticised for players not giving a fuck.

Not so. They were trying to get one in up to the deadline and couldn't. The good news is that Evans should be back around Christmaas.
Still, they left him with a hole. Didn’t deliver. Moneyball ahead of football if you ask me. It’s not fair on the person facing the cameras.
I don't want to sack either tbh, not yet anyway
Same

3 point off the playoffs, personally think it’s been a difficult 2nd season. Amad was sensational and got us in the playoffs last season. Speakman needs to deliver next window which of his buys have been good this season?
I am in your camp. Trying to buy cheap and develop. If you buy 4 new players and none develops we will soon sink to the bottom of the Championship and its not TM fault in my eyes…

Clubs already psyching itself for a sacking, 1 point may be enough to hold on this week but believe me they’re ready.

What was the signing of Burstow based on?

Hemir is the one that baffles me. Wasn't starting for Benfica B and when he did he wasn't scoring goals. Now he's here and strangely not starting and when he did not scoring goals. Strange that. He played 65 minutes from February to the end of the season with them so it's not as if they can even scout him.

For his limited stints, past stats and lack of interest, I'm baffled why he's here tbh.

Excellent post… it sums up what you can see with your own eyes. Some people think he is the best of the bunch

Also the coaching staff Proctor & Dodds
The coaching for outfield players is obviously a disgrace.

He comes short, gets ignored.

He doesn't get any crosses that beat the first defender.

How many times have Clarke and Roberts hit the line and put in decent crosses at pace, or even quick ball with the defenders moving towards goal?

How do you expect him to score?

Young lad who looks totally out of his depth, miles away from what we need leading the line.

We over achieved in our first season back in the championship, it happens alot where your second season is harder this is what is happening to us now.
Add into that we lost a 30m world class player plus mitchut and replaced them with raw youngsters.
Yes mowbray has made mistakes, who here is perfect though? We cant keep sacking managers
Get behind the manager if you agree with him or not. A ship that sails together is better than one trying to sail in different directions. Amad said he loved working with mowbray, says alot to me.
This season was always going to be tougher.

I think he was the subject of interest a couple of years ago from bigger teams. I suspect he’s gone off the boil development wise and we’ve taken a punt in case he finds form again, in which case we’ve got a bargain. If not, he’ll get moved back home for little outlay

Yeah totally agreed, honestly he wouldn't be a bad signing, if he was for the development team (Under 23's) and then if he showed form then he comes into the first team.

It's pretty naive to be signing youngsters who have only played for development teams, in worse leagues. I actually feel sorry for him as he's just been thrown under the bus. It's the equivilant of signing a graduate straight out of uni and throwing him on his own on a major job on the first week. I'd be very surprised if that business was around for very long.

Would you pay £30m for Amad?

If he was world class he wouldn't be loaned out to us, think about it.
