Why do you want to sack Tony and not Speakman?

Clearly Mowbrays fault, if it wasn't for his tactics these kids would be scoring loads....
Mowbray himself has spoke previously about players needing to adjust to get the best out of strikers.

I dont believe anybody thinks the setup is perfect to benefit strikers. You can count on 1 hand the number of through balls slipped to a forward breaking through this season.

I wouldn't disagree with that either. But your refusal to look at the system in any negative way makes the conversation a waste of time. Have you not noticed how we concede the same goal nearly every week?

They should have been drummed out years ago. We're such a soft touch thanks to this nonsense.
Perhaps not the best move given the friendship and trust the Bellingham's have with him. Could cost us millions. 😄

Maybe hire a new general coach and have Dodds "promoted" to map Jobe's bespoke pathway? 😃

Why? Because it's the same old plan every game even though it isn't working. For example before the transfer window he was moaning we didn't have the strikers to play up top like we used to with Stewart and Simms, now that we do he refuses to change the system and give it a try.

He would rather keep rolling the dice hoping things will change instead of changing the tactics and that's why I want Mowbray to be sacked. We all know the players will need time to develop but sticking with a system that isn't working is unacceptable. A new manager is needed who can change it up, play his own way with another style of play and get things going again. I don't know how many games Mowbray wants with the same old tactic? Most teams have worked us out because there is only 1 tactic to study week in week out.

3 point off the playoffs, personally think it’s been a difficult 2nd season. Amad was sensational and got us in the playoffs last season. Speakman needs to deliver next window which of his buys have been good this season?

Speakman sacked now, let Mowbray have some cash, get his players in during Jan, if no improvement then sack him... simples

Even allowing for our lack of a cutting edge we’re better than we’re showing at the moment.
I’m just wondering whether Mowbray has took them as far as they can go, there is never really a variation on the tactics and it’s all getting a little bit stale.

I see issues with the system, but I also see issues with the squad.

You however blame Mowbray for everything
You seem to blame him for nothing.

So let Mowbray spend money on his players, then if it doesn't work sack him and give another manager a squad he doesn't want?

Great planning

When your hands are tied what are you supposed to do?

Hugley over achieved last year and continue to punch above our weight with an imbalanced squad
Stop inverting full backs, start organising us on defending corners, stop being so wide open so we concede a big chance every time we lose the ball.

That would be a start

This scrutiny of Speakman is a good thing in my eyes. He has went way too far with the youngsters. These kids need experienced professionals to play alongside, learn from them and take the pressure off them.
I hope he’s starting to feel the pressure, as it might make him a bit more pragmatic in the coming windows.
The best signing he made for the club was Danny Batth. That one bit of pragmatism was the catalyst for our promotion.

Give him the dm and cf we need and not overload the squad with 10's.

Round and round we go
The bloke reckoned we'd 'easily beat huddersfield'. He's arrogant and stubbornly stuck to his ways. He needs to change fast or he isn't going to see Christmas.

Does my nut in with some of his selections. Bennette looked good against Southampton, never to be seen again. Bigging up Rigg, he's been back a couple of weeks and still not on the bench. Mayenda has looked the most likely of our strikers, dropped for Burstow who's looked shite. Seelt not even on the bench.

Crying out for a bit of steel in the middle of the park. Won't move Onien (who looked good there the one game he played) instead forces Neil or Ekwah to forgo their natural game.
