Why Darren Moore has to go.

I still expect at least two of SW, Ipswich or Portsmouth to make the playoffs. Makes being in that top two even more important.
One might make it but doubt 2 of those will

One from us, Rotherham, Wigan
Oxford
Wycombe

Then one from MK, Sheff W, Pompey imo

Plymouth seem to be drifting (although still currently 6 clear of Sheff W/Pompey)

Ipswich currently 11 adrift

If I was a Wednesday fan I wouldn't want Holloway, hes well past it.
I actually think Jack Ross would be a good appointment, 2nd time down in England, has s bit more experience now
If they don't want Moore because he's negative, then Ross isn't the answer.

Aggressive ffs have a word.
I just find it pathetic that's all.
So I will unwatch this thread unless we going to talk about how Wednesday used to fix games?
I'll indulge you mate, be impolite not to, seeing as I'm simply a visitor to the forum.
The 1964 betting scandal was uncovered by a reporter from the Sunday people, instigated by investigations into a bloke called Jimmy gauld, an ex professional footballer.
His first target was a game between ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday, where he bribed Sheffield Wednesday players, Peter Swann, tony Kaye and "Bronco" Layne to lose the game, which Wednesday duly did, Tony Kaye, funnily enough being named as Man of The Match...(So i reckon he actually was brilliant at it..or.... f.ookin' abysmal.
The 3 Players received a lifetime ban, which was particularly bad for Swann who had recently got into the England side as centre half, he was replaced by Jack Charlton, had swann kept the place for another few years/..who knows.
Journalists from The Sunday people had uncovered a a later fix which exposed Ken Thompson of Hartlepool for helping fix a game between hartlepool and Exeter city, , they then went on to implicate Jimmy Gault
Jimmy gault, realising he was out on a limb, sold his story for £7000 and admitted fixing games with Mansfield, bristol Rovers, Walsall and York city
So thats more or less it in a nutshell mate
Unless you want to go back a bit further and discuss man Utd, Man city Liverpool..tom Fairfould, Meredith etc in 1915

But it might be better to hang on until the fans of those clubs politely pay a visit eh?

Give you some ammunition

Happy to help
Happy new year!

Well, another masterstroke by our bumbling boss.

Remember that bloke who was instrumental in us beating you at Hillsborough, Theo Corbeanu?

The only player in our entire squad that is remotely capable of getting our fans off our seats in this era of pure dross, the player who we have cried out for to get more game time and to be played in his correct forward position, rather than deploying him in a more defensive role....

Well, his parent club have predictably asked for him back with the statement...." He isn't getting enough game time and we want him playing in a side that suits his style"

He's off to MK.

Thanks Daz.
Cool story bro 👍🤣

I've never said that, ever.

It was a great performance, our only one of the season.

Where's the bit that I said he is class?

Seems strange that every opinion you have is based on saying the opposite of what seems to be popular or decent.
No, to be fair, it was actually quite a popular opinion on the thread about him.after Donny. Seems like you are just trying to pick a fight with me,?
Well aye, rival:-
a person or thing competing with another for the same objective or for superiority in the same field of activity

Haway Roberta sort your life out.
Our objective is different to Sheffield weds.

I have better things to do, quite frankly marra, no offence. Enjoy your Friday evening

Shame. He seems like a nice bloke.

Remember him at SOL wrestling our striker, whoever that was, without punishment. Got away more man handling than John O'Shea.
Is that the game where miller scored a last minute goal? I was furious with him that day. Went mental when we scored for that reason.Think I still have the screw marks in the back of my calf's from the seats from jumping around so much. They were cut to bits.
