They're a league rival, clearly.Rivals for what?
Promotion?Rivals for what?
Think so, ayeDidn’t he make a mess at Grimsby last job?
He doesn't fit into Moore's defensive set up.If he is that good why isnt he a) starting every week and b) going to MK Dons? Not being pedantic, just generally wondering.
I've never known a professional football club create so few chances.
Fairs mate.My first choice would be Paul Warne and has been for a couple of years, I could listen to him all day long and his team at least has an identity.
My second choice would be Ian Holloway. Hillsborough is a depressing place right now with apathy running through it, I've never know such a miserable time and I've been supporting them over 40 years. Holloway, at least short term would bring a smile back to the place, he plays attacking football and seems well liked.
Paul cooke, failed at Ipswich which happens but he has a good C.V.
Trust me, after watching years of negative, plodding defensive football what with Joss Luhuky, Monk, Pulis, and now Moore, all we want to see is a team that attacks. That performance against Sunderland at home was a complete one off, you have my word on that.
I've never known a professional football club create so few chances.
If I was a Wednesday fan I wouldn't want Holloway, hes well past it.
I actually think Jack Ross would be a good appointment, 2nd time down in England, has s bit more experience now
Erm, are they?? Next you're going to tell me man city and Newcastle are rivalsThey're a league rival, clearly.
You thought he was class when you’s beat a terrible Sunderland performance 3-0Well, another masterstroke by our bumbling boss.
Remember that bloke who was instrumental in us beating you at Hillsborough, Theo Corbeanu?
The only player in our entire squad that is remotely capable of getting our fans off our seats in this era of pure dross, the player who we have cried out for to get more game time and to be played in his correct forward position, rather than deploying him in a more defensive role....
Well, his parent club have predictably asked for him back with the statement...." He isn't getting enough game time and we want him playing in a side that suits his style"
He's off to MK.
Thanks Daz.
Hillsborough needs a smile back on its face mate, I think Holloway would provide this, at least short term.Things must be bad if you're seriously considering Ian Holloway. He's a shite manager
Cherrs for pointing that out fir me EricPromotion?
I've never said that, ever. You thought he was class when you’s beat a terrible Sunderland performance 3-0
Then after lunch we can all go off and find shergarHillsborough needs a smile back on its face mate, I think Holloway would provide this, at least short term.
Who knows, it might just click for him.
Holloway , why would you want a short term fix that holds no guarantees anyway, he couldn't do the business in league 2 last job.Hillsborough needs a smile back on its face mate, I think Holloway would provide this, at least short term.
Who knows, it might just click for him.
He would still beat Paterson over 10 yards! Then after lunch we can all go off and find shergar
Like I said, he would bring a smile back, even if it's short term. The massive black cloud that's been at Hillsborough for the last 5 years needs removing, I believe Holloway would do that. He has personality, connects with fans, and who knows, it might just kick start our season again. Imo.Holloway , why would you want a short term fix that holds no guarantees anyway, he couldn't do the business in league 2 last job.
Erm, yes. That's a crap comparison btwErm, are they?? Next you're going to tell me man city and Newcastle are rivals
A good manager getting good results would do that.Hillsborough needs a smile back on its face mate, I think Holloway would provide this, at least short term.
Who knows, it might just click for him.
Maybe, but some managers just fit with certain clubs, I never thought he was the right fit for Ipswich.Taking a risk hiring Cooke mind fella.
Because it's a football forum and we are one of your rivals, you might be surprised but lots of your fellow supporters like commenting on other clubs.
