Why Darren Moore has to go.

We recently signed that Mendez-Laing so maybe the writing was on the wall.

Big Daz will deploy him at center half!!

:D

I saw him a few times when he played for Cardiff and he looked dangerous. I wasn't impressed with him at the SoL though, however I thought he'd be better suited as to a central target man role, but he seemed to spend most of the time on the wing. His control/dribbling ability isn'tthe best, so thought that was an odd decision.

Well, another masterstroke by our bumbling boss.

Remember that bloke who was instrumental in us beating you at Hillsborough, Theo Corbeanu?

The only player in our entire squad that is remotely capable of getting our fans off our seats in this era of pure dross, the player who we have cried out for to get more game time and to be played in his correct forward position, rather than deploying him in a more defensive role....

Well, his parent club have predictably asked for him back with the statement...." He isn't getting enough game time and we want him playing in a side that suits his style"

He's off to MK.

Thanks Daz.
I can imagine that’s incredibly frustrating for you.

I find it quite funny.

If he is that good why isnt he a) starting every week and b) going to MK Dons? Not being pedantic, just generally wondering.

I don't normally worry too much about what's going on at other clubs in this division but Wednesday are different. They are (in my opinion) the only other 'big' club down here.

As for Darren Moore - I'd like to see the man do well in football but I'm afraid he looks out of his depth in this job. He made almost no fundamental changes to his system at SoL at half-time despite being 3-0 down. He then threw the players under a bus at full-time when clearly his tactics (the defensive high line with only 3 men) was his error. He also failed to acknowledge the away fans who'd travelled in numbers and kept singing loudly at 5-0 down.

It's not in our interests for him to be replaced by a better manager but it's obvious his time at Wednesday is limited now. He might end up back at Donny in due course.

As for Wednesday, @Visiting owl - who's gonna replace him? How come Paul Warne rarely seems to get mentioned when L1 jobs are being touted about?

That Theo lad looks decent, will be a blow to you and a boost for the MK franchise.

If Moore goes, who would you like to see replace him?
@Visiting owl
My first choice would be Paul Warne and has been for a couple of years, I could listen to him all day long and his team at least has an identity.

My second choice would be Ian Holloway. Hillsborough is a depressing place right now with apathy running through it, I've never know such a miserable time and I've been supporting them over 40 years. Holloway, at least short term would bring a smile back to the place, he plays attacking football and seems well liked.

Paul cooke, failed at Ipswich which happens but he has a good C.V.

Trust me, after watching years of negative, plodding defensive football what with Joss Luhuky, Monk, Pulis, and now Moore, all we want to see is a team that attacks. That performance against Sunderland at home was a complete one off, you have my word on that.

I've never known a professional football club create so few chances.

Taking a risk hiring Cooke mind fella.

Things must be bad if you're seriously considering Ian Holloway. He's a shite manager
