Why broken record Sam Allardyce is fooling no one... least of all West Ham fans

I agree with you mate, Allardyce did a good job but he had served his purpose at West Ham and now he has you established in the Prem you can try and play a more enjoyable style of football which you won't get under him. It reminds me when Southampton sacked Atkins and replaced him with Pochettino and the football improved.

I think you'll get top 10 myself.
And he'll do the same for you guys which as I've said is probably what you need right now

Just don't expect it to be pretty has been my point

Fact is allardyce mentions the West Ham way far more than any West Ham fan you'll ever meet

I suggest you Google "West Ham Way" for yourself. I'd post the number of ludicrous, badly written Internet posts myself but I'd break this site.

I agree, I think he will build a good foundation for Sunderland and in the future some fans will probably get disillusioned with him in a few years and want cup runs and a more exciting style of play.

Im a Hull fan actually and having been at Upton Park for the game I fully understand why your fans booed "that win" and it's wrong for fans on here to judge you for it.

Lol if west ham fans want to insist on watching pretty passing football ... like a London WBA that's fine. We all like to watch attractive play ffs.

It's the owners telling Big Sam their vision is Champions League in 5 years without massive additional funds after he just secured promotion from the Champo that is mental..that is more delusional even than any Mag or Scouser I have met

You can chat about tactics, players, supporters, board members, transfers etc etc

The most important thing in football is results. Full stop.

BSA will prove to everyone why he's been appointed in May when we survive.

And the season after we'll all see what the hammer s and mags were complaining about. Nailed on.

In fairness I think if asked now most would pretty much accept avoiding relegation this season with the prospect of twisting on while we are 12th in the league next.

'Needless to say, this is a man who won three out of his last 20 Premier League games at West Ham. This is a man who, after reaching the 'magic' 40-point mark, simply packed his bags and went for an early holiday. Allardyce needs to stop with all this, man up and take responsibility for doing a shoddy job.'

If we reach 40 points this season and he then fucks off on holiday I wont be complaining!

Nowt to do with the west ham players been on the beach like all the managers fault

They both conveniently forgot the truth. WH are very ambitious. They want Champions League in the next 5 years, and they knew that they needed to change to succeed. They gave him fair warning that this is what they wanted. it's harsh, but this is the reality of life in top flight football. They've been charging their fans a small fortune to buy into this dream. No wonder they weren't happy.
At the time Bruce started messing up for us, we were sure we were going places, also have been sold false promises. No wonder we weren't happy.

IMO West Ham have zero chance of the Champions league in the next 5 years. It would mean they would need to finish above 3 of Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs. They are nowhere near any of those teams and even if West Ham improve greatly those 6 teams will not be standing still.

Yeah because our fans don't put a negative spin on Bruce do they?
Last day survival season before he came in then 13th and tenth (west ham 12th and tenth) and Bruce was 16th when got sacked. What this west ham fan is saying is no different to what so many of our fans have been saying regarding Bruce for years yet you and others are having a pop at him for it!
Hypocrisy of some of our fans knows no bounds at times!
I rarely agree with @Purrfect South on anything and vice versa but he's got this one spot on.

So it was a good move replacing Gyan and Bent with Wickham and Ji? It was a f***ing disastrous decision that eventually got him sacked. BTW this is the same Steve Bruce who spunked £10's of millions and got Hull relegated last season. He's not fit to lace Big Sam's boots, their recrods show you that.

The secret is to aim for it. It's like the lottery, the odds of winning are dreadful, but they're but they're even worse if you don't buy a ticket and try to win.

It's not being ambitious though, it's being completely ridiculous. I think any team in the Premier League can look at the likes of Swansea and Southampton and even Leicester and think that given some very astute signings and a good manger we could aim for the Europa league.

The top 4 is a whole different level. When anyone threatens the status quo up there the other teams change gear and slam the door shut. Spurs have been on the cusp a few times only to fall at the last hurdle. Man Utd sacked Moyes because he fell short of it. Chelsea will be moving heaven and earth to get there despite their slow start.

West Ham and champions league in the same sentence, well I never :)

To reiterate they have never said we will be champions league or top 4

They said highly unlikely but we can dream that's their worlds exactly

Of course it wasn't but it wasn't his fault we had to let them go and replacing them was or practically impossible. He brought bendtner in as well by the way so he didn't replace them with wickham and Ji as you're conveniently trying to point out.
Interesting how you're now all of a sudden a big advocate of allardyce. It clearly wasn't always so........
