Why broken record Sam Allardyce is fooling no one... least of all West Ham fans

'Needless to say, this is a man who won three out of his last 20 Premier League games at West Ham. This is a man who, after reaching the 'magic' 40-point mark, simply packed his bags and went for an early holiday. Allardyce needs to stop with all this, man up and take responsibility for doing a shoddy job.'

What a bitter piece - they are "sick about hearing him moan about West Ham, he should focus on Sunderland" yet the only actual quote is him saying he is excited to get going at Sunderland.

I posted earlier that I've had loads of chew on twitter with some West Ham fans who hate Allerdyce. They reckon they have only spent 4 years out of the last 24 outside the top flight? I can't be arsed to verify this.

Willing to support him, but that piece is right. He did have a pop at their fans in his first interview about us. I hope he's not going to turn out like Bruce, and keep on bitching about his last club.

they went down with us when we finished with 19pts and it took them two seasons to get back. allardyce brought them straight back up the other season

it's correct, they've only spent 4 seasons outside of the Premier League since it began. 24 seasons ago as opposed to our 9.

Tim Poole, who is Tim Poole? Is he someone people should take notice of.
Ah no! Tim Poole is only important to Tim Poole.
The knob fails to acknowledge West Ham ended the season in 12th place on 47 points.
He also chooses his '20' games carefully, they won 4 out of the previous 5 games, and ignores the 7 draws they got on top of the three wins.
He is typical of their deluded fans.

So players have no input do they? Sorry like but even if a manager was (randomly and wholly unprofessionally) happy after 40 points, surely the players would still play. Unless he's sent them out with a youth side or something any worsening of results must be their fault as much as a managers. More so in fact, a player might ease up if happy with 40 points, it's not as if a managers job is easier if he accepts it, he might as well keep sending them out and setting them up the way he has been in order to finish higher. Some articles seem to think the manager is the be all and end all, if that was the case we wouldn't bother paying players 50k a week, we'd just pay a fortune for the manager

Karren Brady told Allerdyce last Christmas they would not be renewing his contract as manager, the club wanted a manager who could play more attractive football; the term "the West Ham Way" was coined. In the second half of the season West Ham were very poor, no doubting that. but knowing the manager was a dead man walking caused most of it. Personally I don't give a shit what West Ham fans think, he came in when they got relegated, got them promoted and established them as a premier league team
