Why are we waiting?

I expected that by now the EFL would have either given the go ahead for this takeover and Stewart Donald would have control, or would have knocked it back, what do you think is holding this up? I thought a week would have been enough time to finalise this.
Its been a bank holiday week mate, thing take a lot longer when we have bank holidays

Maybe the delay is a clever ploy by The Don to increase the hysteria on this board...Then just when even the ITKs are begining to have doubts about the takeover,
The Don finally announces his arrival...

would i be wrong to think that the takeover happened well before the news broke and was only 'leaked' when there was a very high chance it was going through?

if that is the case then as stated above it is quite possible it will now be all down to the paperwork, remember that this will be all written in legal jargon so several proofs will be needed so they can choose the most confusing one, i would think at least another 2 weeks and that will be a pretty good timeframe for this type of venture.

Leaked??

Short made an official statement

Something something expectations something fans fault something hope something typical something something relegation administration something we will return!!!!

Etc

We should have a protest about how long it is taking. How can you all just sit back and let this happen to our football club? Its been nearly a week and a half man, we've got to do summit.

Just have to be patient, our season has only just finished, what's the rush

Lee Howey has been in touch with the EFL reps and told them of the rumours he has heard in the snug of Plainsy Club.

Gone are the days where they’ll just go fill your boots, we don’t give a shite what your affairs are like. Portsmouth and Leeds are the prime example of this, and why everything will be examined with a fine tooth comb to protect the best interests of the club from a bunch of fraudulent kernts.
