I believe I was only responding to the folk slinging the insults and not generalising.
they're just pressing your buttons, ignore them.

Was me dad’s favourite response when I got carried away and said but IF we’d scored from that corner, IF that shot had gone in, IF we’d just scored. But we haven’t, if is the biggest word in the English language anyway I’ll leave it at that.
But that’s ignoring the games before. I’m seeing it as a whole of the time we have been in this league.
I did soz. It's so easy to slip downwards but a lot harder to climb for sure.
All footy fans are the same everywhere, it's just a laugh to me, my club spent 5 years in non- league ( Luton ) drawing with bath university a particular highlight.
Our fans thought we were Brazil and everyone's cup final, we got up eventually but other fans had 5 years of laughter to remember forever.
Janey you are alright chick and like the rest of us have probably missed not being able to go to the game (hope I don't sound patronising), new season just around the corner and with a bit of look we will be in a higher division, not having to worry about catching some horrible disease. We are a big club, no doubt, but being a big club is different to being a big team for me.
Team wise we are only as good as the team on the pitch. And at times we’ve been poo.
I hope you get the support you need xx
Indeed there are similarities between a traditional football league club that falls into non-league and trying to get back up, and our current situation.
Tbh I think league 1 is more 'tin pot' than league 2 or the conference although that may well be due to lack of experience (other than going to Hartlepool games when I was younger and we played away) or there being far less coverage.
The way some teams, officials and even rules go on or are implemented at this level is a shambles tbh and I'd include certain individuals who are/were at this club as well.
Supporters of other clubs on here who yoyo between Leagues One and Two have assured as that the Refs in League Two are much worse![]()
Thanks. Relapsed during lockdown. Be reet.
You don’t sound patronising at all.Janey you are alright chick and like the rest of us have probably missed not being able to go to the game (hope I don't sound patronising), new season just around the corner and with a bit of look we will be in a higher division, not having to worry about catching some horrible disease.
If I am being honest, don't give a shiny shite what anybody thinks about us no matter what team we play or what division we are in. Chin up lass.
That's^ the exact kind of attitude that gets other fans disliking you.
It's not just the refs though. League 2 sides just generally go about their business as the larger ex prem clubs etc don't usually, in the most part, fall that far so they aren't as weirdly hostile owa nowt (although thst could of course change if a big club did go down).
With regards to referees, in general there's been an improvement in decisions with no fans in the stadium which speaks volume. Bar the ref who decided to start a fight with an Ipswich player of course.
you appear to have a massive chip on your shoulder.
there are sunderland fans who have absolutely acted and talked like we are too good to be in the third division but they are few and far between. we are where we are because we are shite on the pitch but off it you won't find a more humble set of fans imo.
Didn't Pompey fall down to League Two a few years back? Would be interesting to hear their experiences in League Two.
What this League has is League 1 officials, who aren't going to be anywhere near as good as PL officials, that's why they are officiating in League 1. We are in League 1, with League 1 teams and League 1 players. We are here because we deserve to be here, it's not a tinpot league, its a league at level 3 of the pyramid, and it's not as good as the leagues above but better than the leagues below. And as for the "best fans in the world", there is some on here that could learn a bit from the supporters of lower league teams. As been said previously, there's lots of them who support unfashionable teams, week in, week out, home and away, with no hope of anything better, despite PL teams being close to them. That's called a proper supporter! The league is tin pot because of the officials , not the clubs and fans of other clubs, who the majority of us would rather mix with day in day out over those of man u and Chelsea.

Man City, Blackpool, Wolves, Coventry are probably the biggest others in the 'modern era' to have played in the fourth tier.
Didn't know that, thought their low points were in Tier 3.
Man City (edit: wrong!!) , Blackpool, Wolves, Coventry are probably the biggest others in the 'modern era' to have played in the fourth tier.
