Who on here has the longest) and shortest) home matchday?

I know my trip is a long one, but not done that often anymore.
Some of you lot doing that every game is f***ing immense.
Nee wonder our support is so admired when you see that kind of commitment man.
In fairness it's not every week we do it. Probs 8 or 9 home games a season. Work and golf have to claim their days too.

Yeah they were long journeys back during the 15 point season
Was at uni in Sheffield that year, why I still came back for every game still is a mystery, would be on the train back with loads of away fans asking if I was mental for coming home to watch that. Sure we played one night game where my train was delayed so got picked up from Durham and we were already 1 or 2 down by the time I got to my seat.

Respect to anyone who done a long journey for the seasons in league 1 as atleast I got to see world class players.

Hartington Street to Roker Park
Could be measured in seconds.
Moved to Shield late 1980s then 45 minutes, Nook-match-Nook.

I had a season ticket when I lived in Edinburgh for five years running. You get used to the travel and it wasn't too bad. Couldn't do it now though, the rail prices would cost too much if nowt else.

Used to know lads in London, Portsmouth and Bristol who went up to Barrow for every home game (including midweeks) in the mid to late 90s. Canny trek for Unibond league football.
