Season ticket in the Clock Stand Paddocks in 1995-1996 remember it was orange.
Then 1996-1997 moved to the Fulwell for the final season and it was purple iirc.

I've been a season ticket holder consistently since 1992.

Only Martin O'Neill seriously made me consider giving it up.

We have had worse seasons than last mate !

Clock stand seats with me grandfatha when I was a kid
Then paddocks (the pen) when I was a bit older

I know a couple of people who were the same, good loyal supporters who had been going for years. They'd just had enough. We've certainly been in lower places than a top flight relegation battle but I think it was just the utter boredom of the Football and tactics and no sign of it changing! Thankfully Paolo has galvanised them a bit

I know it wasn't really the done thing but I am sure a canny few had one.

I had one in the 1990 season

Then I had one the last 3 seasons of RP

At the time I could not afford a season ticket due to extremely poor wages, hence why I only really bought one the last three seasons

Probably about the same. Maybe the last 4 years, just didn't need one before that.

We used to use the father/son gate until I was about 20. Was about 3 quid in.

Had two for the last season at Roker Park.

Paid for them with winnings from bet at bookies the season before on us to get promoted after losing first game at Portman Road! We got stuffed but we played the best football I'd seen for a while so stuck £20 on us at 25-1 to get promoted!!! (That's if my memory is correct!!!)

I had one for 5 seasons on and off, the best of which was the 90/91 season in the Main Stand Seats, Roker Wing...happy Fkn days

Had one for the Fulwell, 69-70. Book of pink perforated tickets, one to be torn off for every game.
Spookily, very similar colour to the SOL seats 40-odd years later!

I had one for the Fulwell from around 1989 onwards. I loved walking to the front of the queue, many of whom who had slept out overnight, for my 1990 Gabbiadini 0-2 ticket and 1992 FA cup final ticket.

Fulwell end season ticket for the last 5 or so years at Roker, paid on gate before that.

Remember pausing to look back at the ground on the way out after the last ever game, had a proper lump in my throat. I still miss the place, loved Roker Park especially under lights. Magical

Me too but was saying to mymam today, the thrill of my 6 year old son stepping into the sol this year wouldnt have been the same at Roker. Loved Roker but imagine how shit it would seem now versus 15 or so top flight clubs. Not that we spent much time in the top flight during my time there like.

Just been watching a couple of vids on YouTube of games at roker.I could even pause it and point myself out in the crowd to the boy in one of them.Miss the place a little but when i have a look at what we have now I don't miss it for long.

True - I got my lad his first season ticket at the SOL when he was 7 so I get exactly what you mean.

But nothing can erase those great memories marra, nothing!

I had one from 1976 till the ground closed and also got one for both of my sons when they were 5 years old, they are 30 and 23 now. The irony of it all was that the final season we had to get 3 for the mainstand as they were the only ones available at the time and we had to move there to keep them. unfortuntely due to the reduced capacity, they did not offer any junior prices so we had to get 3 at £250 each. The next season at the SOL we were allowed to pick our seats and the 3 cost about £300, a saving of £450. But this is what we did so had to be done.
