Who doesn't think Short is the problem?

I like him but he has got too many appointments wrong. He's done enough to warrant no animosity from me though. Invested bucket loads and we have affordable football in our longest stint in the top flight for ages.

Well put.....people lose sight of the values such as affordable football.
Problem has been to many appointments...dammed if he did dammed if he didn't...truth is he would and we would have been better off building a team from the championship and staying loyal to a manager than all the hiring and firing and subsequent churn of short term players..but that's benefit of hindsight and its also why iam philosophical about going down this year

Short appointed di fanti as dof!
When I seen a pic of him I thought fk me it's boris Johnson!

Looked a clown and was !

Who in their right mind would appoint that mess ??

Short to blame for everything imo ,
He's the bloke in charge

Can we please have more names?

Only about 5 people so far are prepared to say they're behind Ellis? Lots of people want to defend him but won't say he's a good owner - I think we know why.

he's put the club up for sale what more do u want him to do?

Can all the posters who think Short is a good owner but has just been let down by a series of mangers list their names here.

When Short finally fucks off and it becomes clear for all to see what a disaster he's been I think it would be helpful to have a record of who the most gullible / stupid supporters are.

Cheers.
Prick.

The sad thing is you're serious aren't you?

Surely it's not a case of it's all the fault of Short/Moyes/Whoever ....... everyone has got some things right and some things wrong.

This isn't 'mixed infants' where people have to in your gang or they're stupid.

What has he got right for the long-term benefit of our club? Serious question.

Go and boil ye head. You're boring

Love him or hate him, it's this simple: UNLESS YOU CAN FIND SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO BUY THE CLUB, HE CAN'T SELL.

Buying the club comes at a massive cost. Investing into the club - and the team - costs even more.

Can we have your list of names of people that will do that?

Really don't know mate tbh.

It's been a long hard week and a long hard day and I've seen 100 identical threads on this exact subject.

I just don't believe this is the time for Sunderland supporters to be making lists of others who'll be lined up against the wall when the glorious revolution comes ....... it's a time for sticking together and supporting whatever we have in front of us.

Short is trying to find a buyer for the club so it's all irrelevant to a great degree ..... the queue of buyers seems to in

How do you know he's looking for a buyer?

Dunno, perhaps he isn't.

If he isn't what are you intending to do?

I think he is too. Just you've said a few times that "he's looking for a buyer" and the only reference I'd seen to it was from third parties e.g. the media. So while I think there's good evidence he is looking to sell, based on what you said the other day it would amount to "guesswork".

The way I see it is that if Short is looking to sell, protesting and making his time at SAFC more unpleasant will make him want it off his hands sooner and therefore probably drop his asking price. If he isn't looking to sell it will make him more likely to want to.

More than anything though, even if it has no productive effect I think it is only right he knows the fury of the SAFC fans. People "boo" at the end of games to let the players know they're disappointed, despite the fact "booing" achieves nothing. Ellis deserves to know how terribly we think of him.
