or does he even get in?
I know we need a 6th bowler but there is something to be said for him replacing Willey

It’s during the Lords test I thinkWhat's going on with his court case? Haven't heard anything in a while.
That is a huge call. Does he get in on his bowling alone? We DO need a 6th bowler IMHO to give Morgan a few options other than Root.or does he even get in?

Root averages 50.57 at 86.83That is a huge call. Does he get in on his bowling alone? We DO need a 6th bowler IMHO to give Morgan a few options other than Root.
You could argue that Root is most at threat....
I know, I know, but looking at the team there is no-one else you could drop. Root is the only one who can't clear the fences like the rest of them can (you could argue that is no bad thing).....Root averages 50.57 at 86.83
I agree. Hence my question about whether Stokes actually gets back in...I know, I know, but looking at the team there is no-one else you could drop. Root is the only one who can't clare the fences like the rest of them can (you could argue that is no bad thing).....
It's a f***ing nice position to be in after so many years of Cook, Bell, Trott........
Surely no team could leave Stokes out.........I agree. Hence my question about whether Stokes actually gets back in...
Yep indeed. It’s whether they’re happy with Stokes bowling a full 10 I guessSurely no team could leave Stokes out.........
If we are happy with 5 bowlers + Root then it has to be Willey who drops out.
I think that's why Root should be one of the last in line to be dropped. He plays in a different way so he adds balance to the team. Because he's happy to stay in and tick along it gives others more freedom.I know, I know, but looking at the team there is no-one else you could drop. Yeah, I agree. It's a nice problem to have. The batting line up is so formidable at the moment that is says a lot when we are debating whether Ben bloody Stokes gets back in the team!!I think that's why Root should be one of the last in line to be dropped. He plays in a different way so he adds balance to the team. Because he's happy to stay in and tick along it gives others more freedom.
Root and Morgan played test match style innings to get us near to the line in the low scoring match England won.I think that's why Root should be one of the last in line to be dropped. He plays in a different way so he adds balance to the team. Because he's happy to stay in and tick along it gives others more freedom.
Wood or ali plus willey
