Just seen an £88 quid flight into stanstead on Sunday morning back from Luton on the Monday evening, travelodge's about £30 ish.

I honestly don’t understand anyone choosing not to go because they have no interest in this competition (and I don’t mean anyone that has work, travel, family, financial reasons for not going).
Whatever level we’d like to see SAFC playing, this is currently where we’re at. It’s a competitive game for us and a final at Wembley.
Each to their own, I just don’t understand it.
I'm meeting all the Sunderland lads in Sliema. About 8 of us. We will have a few beers.
Will save money for a trip to Sunderland shortly
My flag will be flying highI'm going and can't wait, but if I wasn't and had to pick somewhere to watch it, a back street bar in the warmer climes of Malta, with other red & whites on the piss would be spot on.
Must admit, if @Bladecat didn't sort it all i could not be chewed on with bus/train etc, i would not of gone, looking forward to it now like, aswell as Accrington and Rochdale.....
Stay the night for play off final, but hopefully automatically...
Or prioritise. Each to their own as you say, but those who think it is beneath us/embarrassing etc etc should see the play-off final in exactly the same light, it is as you say, where we're currently at.
Me...only been to 1 game this season so didn’t deserve a ticket (plus the missus was due yesterday so would have been too close...the little bugger arrived a fortnight ago so I could have bloody gone!).
Offer is still thereMe, I very rarely get to games due to work or seeing my daughters on a weekend. @rocky kindly offered me a ticket but I decided no. I’ll be shouting my head off at a telly in some town centre pub, haway.
Normal home or away match?? Probably £50-£60 bearing in mind its travel from the Midlands either home or away. Equally I am self employed and work most weekends so add another £100-£150 for loss of earnings for a weekendHow would a day out normally cost?
It's been 6 years since I've been able to go to Sunland to be with me Mam on Mothers day so unfortunately not. Will be at Play Off Final if it involves us, tho
She doesn't like Footy marra and neither does the Missus marraTake your mum to Wembley
Yes. Lots of part timers going because it’s wembley. Lots of season ticket holders not bothering because it’s a Mickey Mouse cup.I know a few who are not bothering because its checkatrade , at same time know of people who very rarely go to matches who are going....
