You are wrong, give them the premier league money and they would be up there with the top 6 easily, in terms of revenue, shirt sales, even ticket prices would go up, hospitality, the lot. They would probably get a load of new fans worldwide.
Couldn't agree more.... I think the worry for celtic or rangers would be if a European Superleague was ever brought in as the powers that be would not place those 2 teams in it

I think you're right, in terms of their status now?? I think the premier league would love them, but the clubs there now, your top 6 definitely wont want them

Why would they? It's increased competition.. But I know one thing if I was Celtic or Rangers chairman I'd go all out to enter the English leagues(even if they have to start non league)

118,567 Record attendance in Gb held by Glasgow Rangers. For a league game.

57,892 Is Leeds record att .Against us and there would have been 8,000 to 15 000 of us there .So to say Leeds are massive club really isn't true .They have never had a crowd above 60 000 when you consider the size of the city their crowds aren't mind blowing.
But they are the biggest supported club in Yorkshire... And have reached the Champions league semi finals and European Cup final. They also won the league in the in the 90s... Leeds fans would argue they are a huge club... Top 6 in England fan wise. But once again I agree Rangers are bigger

Fully agree with you, that's their best bet, I'm not sure how it would work, would the sfa have to release them from the spl? Would the english fa have to approve them into the non league? And non league teams get a vote, which we all know they would vote for them being in. I was always dead against it, but I'd love to see them both in the premier league ruffling a few feathers

The size of their city, plus york, wakefield and the rest of yorkshire, Leeds crowds are shocking really, especially when they do shit in the top flight. When they are a top flight club there seems to be huge interest when they do well, when they slip to mid table bottom half, alot of fans desert them. Fickle fans are leeds, tho their away support is class

Any European superleague would have to consist of two divisions to get it to be approved by most uefa nations. Celtic and Rangers would find themselves in the lower division.

Rangers are a bigger club currently. Both play in badly outdated stadiums and both are a shadow of their glory years but Rangers play in Europe every year and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who hasn't heard of Rangers abroad.

Leeds have a chance to change all that though in the next few years

If there’s serious disagreement over which club is bigger then it’s neither. Right now one is runner-up in small league and the other has just been promoted into what is wealthiest football league in the world. Both have had successful pasts but for differing reasons have been left behind in the 21st century.

I've just read that Rangers have played 41 times in front of a crowd of over 100,000.

Their League vs our top League are miles apart, but that's a different argument.

Imagine leeds in a yorkshire league only, they wouldnt get more than 20k

Both huge clubs. Similar sets of fans, loud and passionate.I'd rather us be facing these two teams then some of the sterile shite nowadays.

Rangers by a mile. Go to any pub in Tyne and Wear, Glasgow. They will be talking football. Leeds/Yorkshire talking owt but football
